Petron to co-sponsor the sixth International Climate Summit (ICS 6) alongside the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Petron Scientech is co-sponsoring the sixth International Climate Summit in New Delhi on 2 September 2026, convening policymakers, industry, investors and researchers around India's energy and food security mission.
Petron, along with India’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has joined efforts to organise the International Climate Summit for the sixth consecutive year, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, technology providers, Indian and foreign investors, financial institutions, R&D institutions, consultants, and leading international experts on a common platform.
The summit assesses what has been achieved, identifies what more is required, and deliberates on how the Government’s policy vision can be translated into faster ground-level outcomes through technology transfer, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, investment mobilisation, R&D, international best practices, and robust safety frameworks. The deliberations culminate in concrete recommendations, key takeaways, and a policy document submitted to the relevant Ministries and Government agencies for consideration and expedited action.
Yogi Sarin, Petron’s Founder and CEO, sits on the organising committee and chairs the technical session on bioethanol, biofuels, bioplastics and chemicals.
The event takes place on 2 September 2026 from 9:00 AM at Le Meridien / Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
