Development of cost-effective fermentation processes to use n-propanol and isopropanol as a biofuel component, or as a precursor for the chemical synthesis of propylene.

Ethanol from agricultural crops, crop waste,  Biomass, Forestry residues, Dairy waste,  and non-edible Grains, Sorghum and sugarcane, molasses including other Cellulosic biomass like (sugar cane/ sorghum bagasse, Corn Cob/ Stover, Wood and Agriculture Waste such rice and wheat straw, husk, bran) can be efficiently used as raw material in Petron’s process to produce Ethanol of all grades for Bio -Fuels, Green Chemicals/ polymers and other Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Food  and alcoholic beverage applications

Technology to recover and purify biogenic CO2 co-produced during the Ethanol fermentation in our technology as well as from our ethylene / Biomass to EO/MEG process and purify it further to be used in food and beverage industrial (e-methanol)  or for Urea fertilizer or other application for circular economy.

Extraction of High Protein Meal (DDGS) and Corn Oil during corn milling to maximizes the revenue in our plants. DDGS is suitable for animal feed, pet food to provide high protein source. Corn oil as coproduct of Ethanol process can be either used for Biodiesel or edible oil application.

Renewable fuels such Diesel and others are in great demand and have currently limited production. In conjunction with our partner, ethylene produced by our technology is converted into Renewable fuels through a proven and efficient industrial scale process.

SAF is in great demand and growing with limited current production with Alcohol to Jet (ATJ) route. In conjunction with our partner, ethylene produced by our technology is converted into SAF through a proven and efficient industrial scale process.

Fermentation of butanol from several source is currently under development with the aim to maximize the butanol production over the coproducts (acetone and ethanol).

Process to manufacture renewable Bio-Butadiene is in development scale at Petron. Butadiene is a crucial chemical, notably for the manufacturing of Automobile, Aircraft and toy tires. Our ethanol-to-butadiene process being developed would be promising solution to both environmental concerns and provides a sustainable solution. butadiene production.

Using CO2 recovered from our fermenters during the production of the ethanol and the Green H2 from ethanol reforming or Electrolytic roue, E-Methanol can be produced to fulfil the growing demand for Marine ships, Bunker fuels as well as other industrial applications.

Our process to manufacture Butene has been developed following the same alignments of energy efficiency and low CAPEX of our Ethanol to Ethylene and Propanol to Propylene technologies. Petron has its own patent to dehydrate Butanol to Butene. Our specially design catalyst and reactor system offers a selective dehydration of the butanol into Butene for all downstream applications such as SAF, Isooctane and Alfa olefins.

In line with our Ethanol to Ethylene process design philosophy, dehydration of propanol is carried out in our specially design reactor. Petron has a patent for dehydration of Propanol to propylene. Heat integration and recovery system is applied in the design. Bio-Propylene from the dehydration reactor is further processed to achieve the quality required for poly propylene and other propylene applications.

Peton offers technology for Methanol to Formaldehyde and its downstream products industrial applications. Methanol can be from fossil or bio sources such as e-methanol.
