With a state of the art dehydration Reactor design capable of handling ethanol qualities from several suppliers and a special design heat integration and recovery system, Petron provides the best ETE technology worldwide. In the case that raw ethanol specs available do not comply with reactor minimum requirements, our ethanol purification technology can be added to improve its specs up to the required values. This section will be fully integrated with the heat recovery section and have a low CAPEX.
The Ethylene Wash & Compression section is capable of producing Chemical Grade Ethylene, which is suitable for most of the downstream process of the industry. In case ethylene specs need to meet SAF or Polymer grade specs, Petron has two Ethylene Purification designs for each grade, that can be integrated into the plant with a relatively low CAPEX, compared to our competitors.

Technology to recover and purify biogenic CO2 co-produced during the Ethanol fermentation in our technology as well as from our ethylene / Biomass to EO/MEG process and purify it further to be used in food and beverage industrial (e-methanol) or for Urea fertilizer or other application for circular economy.
Extraction of High Protein Meal (DDGS) and Corn Oil during corn milling to maximizes the revenue in our plants. DDGS is suitable for animal feed, pet food to provide high protein source. Corn oil as coproduct of Ethanol process can be either used for Biodiesel or edible oil application.

Fermentation of butanol from several source is currently under development with the aim to maximize the butanol production over the coproducts (acetone and ethanol).

Our process to manufacture Butene has been developed following the same alignments of energy efficiency and low CAPEX of our Ethanol to Ethylene and Propanol to Propylene technologies. Petron has its own patent to dehydrate Butanol to Butene. Our specially design catalyst and reactor system offers a selective dehydration of the butanol into Butene for all downstream applications such as SAF, Isooctane and Alfa olefins.
In line with our Ethanol to Ethylene process design philosophy, dehydration of propanol is carried out in our specially design reactor. Petron has a patent for dehydration of Propanol to propylene. Heat integration and recovery system is applied in the design. Bio-Propylene from the dehydration reactor is further processed to achieve the quality required for poly propylene and other propylene applications.
Peton offers technology for Methanol to Formaldehyde and its downstream products industrial applications. Methanol can be from fossil or bio sources such as e-methanol.
