Petron provides commercially available technology to convert methanol into formaldehyde and downstream formaldehyde-based products, including phenol-formaldehyde (PF) and urea-formaldehyde (UF) resins. Renewable product pathways can use qualified bio-methanol or e-methanol as feedstock.

The technology supports lower-carbon resin and adhesive value chains for wood products, panels, laminates, insulation, coatings, and construction materials. Renewable-content claims depend on verified methanol sourcing and applicable product traceability.
