Construction of brand-new biorefinery complex announced at WBM 2017

"At the three-day World Bio Markets event held this week in Amsterdam, a family-owned Turkish company called Tükek Holding easily took the prize for the most exciting news: amid the many presentations about the hopes, plans and intentions for the future came the announcement from Tükek about its new, commercial biorefinery project, which is being realized by a new company established for this purpose called Biokim. Other partners and stakeholders in the project include US companies Petron Scientech Inc., a leader in the industrial conversion of renewable ethanol into chemical feedstocks, synthetic chemical company Novomer, and Global Industrial Dynamics, Netherlands-based technology partner specialized in the development and implementation of projects worldwide."

South Korea’s major Ethylene Oxide/ Glycol Plant expansion/ improvement awarded to Petron in 2015

Petron Scientech Inc., N.J. USA has been awarded another project for the License and Basic engineering Design Package (BEDP) for a major expansion and debottlenecking of a large Ethylene Oxide/Glycol plant in Daesan, South Korea. The original plant used Scientific Design (SD) technology.

For this project Petron is developing the improved process Technology License and BEDP and is helping in its execution . The debottlenecking and expansion project is under execution using Petron's patented and proprietary process technology to manufacture Ethylene Oxide/Glycols. The project once completed would achieve the debottlenecked (DBN) design production capacity, improved plant efficiency, accomplished desired product distribution, and reduced steam consumption. As envisaged, major OPEX and CAPEX savings would be being realized in this plant using Petron’s patented process technology.

Petron is involved in the worldwide licensing of the design, execution and operation of Ethylene Oxide and MEG plants. Petron is also pioneer in bio-Ethanol to Ethylene technology and is carrying out Laboratory Research that focuses on improving process and Catalyst performance. This strategy has resulted in patented and successfully commercialized innovations in technology that are providing extensive savings in energy consumption.

Greencol Technology Corporation (GTC) Taiwan Company’s biorefinery: bio Ethanol to Ethylene project successfully completed

Petron Scientech Inc., N.J. USA was contracted to supply, the Technology License, the Basic engineering Design Package (BEDP) for a 100,000 tons/ year, brown field, Ethanol to Ethylene plant at Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Ethylene is further used in downstream Ethylene Oxide and Ethylene Glycols applications. GTC is a joint venture company between Toyota Tsusho Corporation of Japan and China Man Made Fiber Corporation (CMFC) of Taiwan.

Petron also provided the Ethanol dehydration catalyst

For this project, Petron reviewed the detailed engineering, vendor documents and lead the startup of the plan in January 2014. The new facility has been started up using Petron's patented and proprietary process technology to manufacture Ethylene from renewable /sustainable bio Ethanol substituting petroleum feed stock based Ethylene.

Samsung Total Petrochemicals Company Limited (STC), Daesan; South Korea’s Ethylene Oxide/ Glycol Plant - DBN/Expansion Completed

Petron Scientech Inc., N.J. USA had supplied the Basic engineering Design Package (BEDP) for the major expansion and debottlenecking of Samsung’s existing Ethylene Oxide/Glycol plant in Daesan, South Korea. The original plant was built in the year1991 using Scientific Design (SD) technology.

For Petron provided Technology License and BEDP for new improved technology and helped in its execution.The debottlenecked and expanded plant has been started up using Petron's patented and proprietary process technology to manufacture Ethylene Oxide/Glycols. The plants has already achieved the debottlenecked (DBN) design production capacity, improved plant efficiency, accomplished desired product distribution, and reduced steam consumption. Jilin Zhongxin chemical (JZC), China Company’s biorefinery: Ethanol to Ethylene Oxide/ Glycol Plant project successfully started

Petron Scientech Inc., N.J. USA was contracted to supply, the Technology License, the Basic engineering Design Package (BEDP) for a green field Ethanol to Ethylene and Ethylene to high purity EthyleneOxide and Ethylene Glycols plant in Jilin, China. The original contract was signed in 2011. Petron also provided the Ethanol dehydration catalyst.

For this project, Petron reviewd the detailed engineering, vendor documents and lead the successful start up of the plan in January 2015.The new facility has been started up using Petron's patented and proprietary process technology to manufacture Ethylene Oxide/Glycols.
